UI

  • Added the possibility to see other Runner’s Animal Levels in their Profiles


 

Animals


Bear

“This blue dude has seen great success in the higher Ranks, but not so much in the lower ones. Therefore, we’re adjusting him to make him easier to utilize for newer players.”

Base Stats

  • Climb speed: 7 → 7.7

  • Climb leap: 22 → 20.68

Ability - Super Sprint

  • Boost: 40 → 30

  • Duration: 1.5s → 3s

Passive - Second Wind

  • Burst: 7.5 → 5


Cat

“This lady feels a bit weak in her ability to catch up to other Runners while in her Ability, so we’re upping that slightly.”

Ability - Shadow Rush

  • Boost: 15 → 20


Bunny

“We have noticed that this lass has greater success in higher Ranks compared to lower ones. We’re adjusting her climbing to mitigate this, in addition to making her Ability weaker and adjusting her Passive.”

Base Stats

  • Climb speed: 7 → 7.35

  • Climb leap: 22 → 20.9

Ability - Flower Leap

  • Leap: 40 → 38

  • Charge: 800 → 1000

Passive - Rapid Recovery

  • Acceleration: +150% → +100%

  • Duration: 2.5s → 3s


Dragon

“Our favorite little explosive fellah got too strong in the recent update and is crushing all opposition. We’re focusing on reducing his base stats, to avoid changing his Ability and Passive too much to keep them fun.”

Base Stats

  • Top speed: 16.57 → 16.15

  • Climb leap: 23.97 → 23.31

Ability

  • Burst: 50 → 48

Passive

  • Burst: 30 → 28


Lion

“After the previous buffs, this royal guy got a good boost in his win rates. The overall win rate is where we want it, while he’s getting a little bit better utilized in higher Ranks. Therefore, we’re adjusting him down his kit a bit while upping his base stats.”

Base Stats

  • Acceleration (0-15 m/s): 1.59s → 1.55s

Ability - Savage Swipe

  • Dash: 60 → 58

Passive - Predator Rush

  • Burst on kill: 7.5 → 6.5


Robin

“This guy got a little over-tuned in the latest update. We’re bringing his Ability back, making it slightly stronger with an increased invulnerability duration. We’re also upping his base values to make up for what he lost in invulnerability to make him able to compete better with the other Animals.”

Base Stats

  • Top speed: 16.57 → 17

  • Acceleration (0-15 m/s): 1.55s → 1.52s

Ability - Phase Dash

  • Dash: 55 → 60

  • Dash duration: 2.33s → 2.66s

  • Invulnerability duration: 2.66s → 0.3s


Hippo

“Our purple lady is in a pretty good spot, but we want to give her a little adjustment upwards to place her a bit higher in the win rates.”

Ability - Ferocious Bite

  • Boost: 15 → 17

  • Burst on Kill: 20 → 22

  • Kill timer: 1.3s → 1.5s


 

Powerups


Mega Blade

“It is too easy to hit with this one, so we’re making it a bit heavier and reducing the time Runners are dead for.”

  • Throw speed: 20 → 25

  • Kill timer: 1.3s → 1.1s


Slow Grenade

“The slow is a bit too strong, making this a very useful Powerup. Instead of reducing the slow amount, we’re shortening the duration for how long someone stays slowed.”

  • Slow duration: 2.2s → 2s


Bear Trap

“This Trap is a bit weak in the win rates, so we’re upping for how long Runners stay dead if they have the misfortune to step on it.”

  • Kill timer: 1.3s → 1.5s


Punch Box

“The heavy-handed box is the strongest Trap in terms of win rate, so we’re adjusting it a fair bit to make it slightly more reasonable.”

  • Force: 20 → 18

  • Lifetime: 5s → 4s


Hover Bomb

“With this one being very easy to be placed where one wants it, and that also being quite fun, we’re reducing the time it stays alive for.”

  • Lifetime: 3.5s → 3s


Orb Shield

“This protector has the lowest win rate of all Defensives, so we’re upping its buffs to make it stronger.”

  • Top speed: +15% → +20%

  • Acceleration: +15% → +30%


Sprite Shield

“This one, along with the other two below, is equally strong and way too high up in win rates. We’re adjusting this to give more of an acceleration buff, but not to last as long, to hopefully bring it down in win rates but also make it a bit more interesting.”

  • Acceleration: +25% → +60%

  • Duration: 2.2s → 1.9s


Hexa Shield

“This one just gets too much of a top-speed increase and lasts too long, so we’re bringing it down.”

  • Top speed: +35% → +27.5%

  • Duration: 2.8s → 2.7s


Heart Balloon

“The fire-and-forget mentality of this Powerup makes it very strong overall, so we’re reducing its potency.”

  • Duration: 4.5s → 4.2s


Magnet

“Magnet is a bit weaker than the Lightning Storm, so we’re upping its effect.”

  • Force: 20 → 25


Sonic Blast

“With this one being a very easy-to-use Special, we want to make sure it isn’t too overbearing, so we’re making a slight adjustment.”

  • Force: 25 → 23.5


Electro Shock

“This shocker has a much higher win rate in lower Ranks than in the rest of the spectrum. With that, we’re making it a bit harder to use and also upping its effect when successfully hit.”

  • Shock delay: 0.66s → 1s

  • Kill timer: 1.3s → 1.5s


Baseball Bat

“The bat is slightly stronger than the other Specials across all Ranks. We’re adjusting it slightly to keep it in line.”

  • Force: 30 → 27.5


 

Bug Fixes


  • Fixed a bug where the Referral part of Social would disappear on a successful invite

  • Fixed an issue where you could get stuck during the Tutorial if you leveled up an Animal twice in a row

  • Fixed a bug where force-based Actions would not work on Runners that are climbing
